Follow in Their Bootsteps: Stories of Kentucky’s Black Civil War Soldiers is an interactive traveling exhibit funded by a grant from the Kentucky Historical Society. The exhibit explores the vital and often overlooked role of Black soldiers during the American Civil War, specifically 10 African American soldiers from Kentucky. The exhibit will be on display at the library throughout the month of March and is free and open to the public.
