The Library has many resources and activites for adult patrons. The Public Library is always looking for new ways to better serve you. All suggestions concerning adult programming and book and DVD selections are welcome. Please let us know how we can serve you better.
Adult Programs
Below are some of the upcoming events for adult library patrons. For more information about the book groups please click on the Adult Book Groups page. All programs can be found on the calendar page. All library programs are free and open to the public.
- Thursday February 2nd at 6:00pm The FruGal- Deborah Morris from the Lexington-Herald Leader will be presenting her workshop: Couponing 101.
- Tuesday February 7th at 6:00pm BTOP Computer Class: Computer Basics Level 3. This class is for people who already have basic knowledge of computers. Pre-register for this class by calling 234-4881.
- Thursday February 9th at 5:30pm Valentine Craft for Adults where you can make a heart ornament, your choice of two bookmarks and pizza cookies. Seating is limited, so sign up today!
- Monday February 20th the Library is Closed.
- Thursday February 23rd at 4:30pm the Historical Book Group will be meeting to discuss Grant and Twain by Mark Perry.
- Thursday February 23rd at 6:00pm the Women's Book Group will be meeting to discuss Room by Emma Donoghue.
- Tuesday February 28th at 6:00pm BTOP Computer Class: Microsoft Excel.
- Thursday March 1st at 5:30pm Family Game Night!
